Intricate Patch Pockets: We’ve taken two gorgeous, handmade vintage doilies and expertly backed them with soft black cotton to ensure they are as functional as they are beautiful. These were then meticulously top-stitched as oversized patch pockets—perfect for keeping your essentials (and your hands) cozy.
The Scalloped Neckline: This is where the skill really shines. The original binding around the neckline was carefully unpicked to allow for the insertion of a delicate, scalloped edge from a salvaged vintage doily. The binding was then reattached, creating a custom, "built-in" lace detail that looks like it was always meant to be there.
